Privacy Policy

This policy covers akmalariq.dev and the apps hosted on it, including Dompet (a personal money manager at akmalariq.dev/projects/dompet). It explains what data is collected, how it is used, and how you can have it removed. It is a small, personal project run by Akmal Ariq — there is no advertising, and your data is never sold.
What is collected
Consult requests from this site.
If you use the consult form on the homepage, we receive your name, email address, the report you describe, and three choices: which best describes you (business owner, freelancer, looking for work, or other), what you can export today (marketplaces and POS and bank, POS or accounting only, spreadsheets only, or nothing exportable), and how often a decision rides on it. It goes to Akmal Ariq’s inbox and is used only to reply to you about the enquiry.
Analytics records that a request was made, and a random identifier so a request can be matched to the page it came from. It does not record the text you typed. We keep consult enquiries only as long as the conversation is live, and you can ask for deletion at any time.
- Account basics from Google Sign-In. When you sign in with Google you share your name, email address and profile picture. We use this only to identify your account. We do not receive your password and cannot access your Gmail, Drive or other Google data.
- Data you enter. The transactions, amounts, categories, accounts, budgets and notes you add to Dompet, and the email address (and optional name) you submit to the waiting list.
- Basic technical data. Standard request information processed by our hosting provider to serve the site and keep it secure.
How it is used
Your data is used solely to provide the app: to show your dashboard, budgets and reports, to keep your account secure, and to email you about your waiting-list invite. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the app, and it is not sold or rented.
Shared Dompets
Dompet lets you share a ledger with other people. If you create or join a shared Dompet, its accounts, categories, transactions and budgets are visible to every member of that Dompet, and each entry shows who added it. If you leave a shared Dompet your access is removed immediately, but entries you added stay visible to the remaining members. The owner can remove members at any time.
Where it is stored and who processes it
- Cloudflare — hosting for the site and app, and the database (D1) that stores your data.
- Google — sign-in only.
- Resend — sending waiting-list and invite emails.
Your data is not shared with anyone else, except where required by law.
Cookies and sessions
Signing in sets a single secure, HTTP-only session cookie so you stay logged in. No tracking, analytics or advertising cookies are used by the portfolio itself. Google Analytics is loaded on this site. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager run on every page to measure which pages and buttons people use. Google sets its own cookies for this. It is analytics only — no advertising, no profiling, nothing sold, and nothing shared beyond Google. It records which page you viewed and which button you pressed. It does not record what you type into the consult form: that goes to an inbox. An opt-out extension blocks it and the site behaves identically.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and everything in it, email akmalariqs@gmail.com and it will be removed.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
